Hélène Vrijdag

Hélène Vrijdag (1996, Rennes, FR) is a Rotterdam-based performer, singer, writer, and weaver. She studied Performance at the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Gender Studies at Utrecht University, through which she enriches her artistic practice with queer, feminist, and decolonial research. Her voice is her primary instrument: a genre- and gender-bending soundscape inspired by mythology, memes, and music divas. She is co-founder of STUDIO SIBLING and a member of WEEF.collective, where she creates vocal and weaving performances. In 2024, she contributed as a musical coach to PARADISE CIRCUS NOW, and in 2027 she will co-direct PARADISE CIRCUS SONGS at KASKO alongside Timo Tembuyser.
