Manuel Kiros Paolini and Hendrik Aerts (artistic director of KASKO) first collaborated in 2016 at Club Guy & Roni, where Manuel worked as an intern dancer under Hendrik’s direction in the production of Kaspar by Peter Handke. A year later followed Self-Accusation, also by Handke. Shortly after graduating from CODARTS, Manuel felt that performing alone was no longer enough and decided to start creating his own work. His work is characterized by high intensity and raw physical expression, interwoven with poetic, introspective moments inspired by his interest in Butoh. Since 2022, he has worked with Hendrik as a choreographer on Narrow Spaces and PARADISE CIRCUS NOW (2024). After years of freelancing across Europe, Manuel is now developing his own work in Zwolle and will contribute to PARADISE CIRCUS ISLAND (2025) and PARADISE CIRCUS LOVE (2026).
